How many sessions will I need to attend? The number of sessions you will require will depend on the issues and goals you want to achieve. Some people require as few as six sessions to experience a shift in their mood or to solve their issues. However, most people will require at least 10 sessions to achieve real change, and some people with chronic and/or complex issues will require more. We usually start with weekly sessions and then depending on progress, sessions may be extended to fortnightly or monthly intervals.

What is your cancellation policy? The cancellation policy is in line with most other psychology practices and the recommendations of the Australian Psychological Society (APS). Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice incur the full fee cost (100%) because the session is unlikely to be filled with another booking, and importantly, committing to sessions is an important element of improving mental health. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours notice incur a 50% of the session fee. Please note that unattended sessions cannot be claimed under Medicare.
